Early Childhood & Homelessness: Research, Resources & Partnerships Webinar

Please join us for this interactive webinar on early childhood homelessness in Vermont. Child care providers will receive 2 hours of professional development credit for participating in the full 2-hour training and completing an evaluation after the training.

This webinar is being offered twice; the content is repeated:
Monday, February 13, 2017, 12:30 – 2:30pm
Thursday, February 16, 6:30 – 8:30pm


During this webinar, we will:
• Identify the effects of homelessness on young children, and the scale of this issue in Vermont
• Identify where the people who are homeless can receive assistance, types of homeless assistance available, and how to make a referral for assistance
• Describe lessons and best practices from peers of effective VT partnerships that positively impact homeless children and their families
• Use the Early Learning Resource Guide to identify useful resources for those working with young children in families experiencing homelessness
