| Vermont Education News

veggie-van-goA function of the Vermont Foodbank is to provide fresh produce, perishable products, and shelf-stable food to our 225 network partners. VeggieVanGo™ is one program that helps us provide food to 153,000 Vermonters in need. With the help of VeggieVanGo, we expect to distribute 2 million pounds of fresh food to our neighbors in need of food assistance this year.

Families with children (of all ages) in the WSESU school district can pick-up fresh produce on the first and third Monday of each month from 10:00-11:00 in the parking lot across from the BUHS Main Entrance (directions). There are no forms or eligibility requirements – just come and pick-up healthy veggies for your family.
