Information and Policies

• Most fees are $10 - $20 per class, but members pay only half, $5 - $10. The annual membership fee is $15 for family child care businesses and individuals and $50 for child care centers and multi-member agencies. Please note that memberships and most workshops are also open to parents and other community members. All fees listed in this calendar are member prices.
  
  
• Training locations: We utilize a number of local spaces for training. Most sessions will take place at either The Center on Route 5 in Dummerston or the conference rooms at 130 Birge St. in Brattleboro. All Interactive Television classes are held at the Brattleboro Union High School location. Other spaces may be used as needed. If you are uncertain about the location or need directions contact Windham Child Care Association, 254-5332, prior to the training.
  
  
• Tuition Waivers: If fees present a hardship please contact Deborah at 254-5332 at least one week prior to the class to request a waiver (waivers available only for trainings sponsored by Windham Child Care Association. May not cover materials such as books).
  
  
• Registration: Pre-registration and payment or waiver request are required at least one week in advance. No registrations will be accepted without payment, prior arrangement, or waiver. Walk-ins may be turned away.
  
  
• Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel classes one week in advance due to low enrollment, or the day of the training in cases of illness, bad weather and other unforeseen events. When a class must be cancelled or when a twenty-four hour cancellation notice is received, credit will be given toward a future class. No refunds or credit will be given for Òno showsÓ.
  
  
• We ask that you respect other participants and arrive for class ten minutes early so that you have time to greet friends, get a snack, and get settled before the class begins.
