This training covers the basic education for child care center staff required by Vermont’s Act 1 legislation on the subject of child sexual abuse prevention.  Topics will include the prevention of child sexual abuse, signs and symptoms of abuse, grooming processes, and predatory behaviors of sex offenders. The 35-minute Commit to Kids video, containing interviews with convicted sex offenders and adult survivors of child sexual abuse, will be viewed and discussed.  Presented by Karen Holz, Prevent Child Abuse Vermont
