Social Emotional Development within the Context of Relationships
This training is the first in a series of modules from the Center for Social Emotional Foundations for Early Learning (CSEFEL) that provides research-based practices for addressing challenging behavior. Module 1 offers strategies to prevent challenging behavior. Topics that will be addressed include the importance of relationships to early social emotional development, key elements of social emotional wellness, the importance of families to infant/toddler social emotional development, the need for caregiver self-awareness, supporting infant/toddlers’ families, and the key emotional needs of infants and toddlers.
