We provide healthful meals and snacks designed to nourish and delight.
Our daily routine includes two snacks in addition to dinner and plenty of opportunities to go outside or go on field trips. Both field trips and special projects are offered each day, in addition to homework support for older children.
Children eat a family-style dinner together in the dining room - giving them an opportunity to practice their table manners and watch other children try new foods. Parents are often amazed at the nutritious fare their children eat at Evening Care!
An afternoon snack gives kids the energy they need to play and grow, and a bedtime snack helps them sleep. Our cook prepares almost everything from scratch, and dinner is served family style, with adults and children at the table together enjoying one another's company. To help build a sense of belonging and responsibility, the children set their own places at the table, and clean up after themselves when the meal is over.

We encourage the children to try a variety of foods, but they are never forced to eat anything. All meals comply with guidelines established by the USDA. The program participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.
