About Windham Child Care Association

Founded as Vermont’s first child care resource and referral agency in 1981, Windham Child Care Association began as a loose affiliation of child care providers.  Since that time, the organization has seen tremendous success in terms of its organizational capacity and community impact.  From a one-person office in a converted barn, the staff now includes nine trained and capable staff and is overseen by a eight member board of directors.  It is an integral part of the community’s fabric of human service agencies and non-profit sector.
